Tanitha's Cosmic Musings

I have not blogged in ages. I have an older blog on blogger but I have not used it or posted on it in a long long time. However, I miss writing even if I am the only person reading those posts. It is a way to express myself, express my frustrations, express my passions, take a note or post a photo I took. Or post a meme or photo that I found online and made my day.

I am choosing wordpress this time, as it has one of the highest ratings. I have not used wordpress before, and I will try to learn how to create not just a blog but a website. Or that is my wish for later. But I will take it very very slowly. I do not want to overwhelm myself and try to do everything at once.

What I will blog about? Well, I will try to avoid politics, although a lot of topics have become political when they should not be. I will not dwell on it at the moment, there will be posts about it.

There will be a lot of nerdy stuff. In fact, the image that I chose as a header image is from my MMO of preference: Star Wars The Old Republic or SWTOR for short. And No, that character is not Tanitha. And yes I have a character named Tanitha on it. I actually have a lot of characters both Republic and Imperial.

There will be geeky stuff. Science Stuff. Physics, maths and astronomy mostly. But anything that has to do with science and technology is in my remit. I wish I had more time to read and study more. I wish I could try a lot of new gadgets that come out, but no money no honey, as they say.

There will be books. Lots of books. I love books. There is nothing better in the evening than a nice cup of redbush tea and a book before sleep. Currently, I am reading Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens. That is quite a difficult book, so it will probably take me a while before I can finish it. As I am working full time, and have a bit (or a lot) of housework to do as well, among other things, it will take a bit of time to finish it.
